If you mean the article where he praised Thatcher I did read it and the context. There are no redeeming features to Thatcher. The country had a golden opportunity to modernise. We could have reduced our reliance on coal whilst developing green energy. We could have sold off Council Houses and used the proceeds to build new ones. We could have used our North Sea oil and gas to fund state pensions like Norway. Instead of which she divided us and turned us into a f*** you society which has culminated in the complete debt ridden mess we are now. So sorry if I don't agree with you.

You as others can't even comment on Labour by amendment bringing about Sunak first commons defeat regarding the single biggest NHS scandal and Labour ensuring that victims of contaminated blood are compensated.

No true socialists to date here critical of Stamer would allow the above go uncommented, kindest comment on that sort of absence is at best not even remotely interested in social justice. To be honest read Anya Rand express more social justice. All I read here from (cough) principled left is personal politics clouding agenda.

Very often in life as ive got older it's not what is said or typed. It's what is not said or typed that reveals true intentions, and yourselves and couple of others stand guilty of going quite on good social justice wins and im happy to be seen opposed to that (cough) principled left...

That has absolutely nothing to do with the posts you have quoted.

You’re just lashing out at people for no reason.

I’ve been very vocal on social justice in this part of the forum and played a part in restoring it in real life.

If anyone on here is parroting tory propaganda it’s you with your comments on the left.

We will see, almost guaranteed ECHR will now be a manifesto issue with the Tories wanting to pull us out and Labour remaining. No doubt the shout to vote Green will get even louder now, in the hope split left to return a Tory government in the first past the post system.

And the Tory gammons will think the ECHR is a nasty EU thing. I doubt anyone will tell them truth. (Largely drafted by good old Brit lawyers post WW2).

A lot of red wall voters will reject both parties as a vote against the system.

Conspiracies and right wing lies spread on social media are massive in these parts and reform are the perfect party to capitalise.

The tories are making a desperate attempt to win back these votes.

Labour simply don’t care and still haven’t figured out how to tackle the immigration debate round these parts.

These places are lost for a generation.

Reform are not a political party. There are more people on this page of this thread than that party has members.

Brexit has changed the landscape in politics.

When you see mining towns in Durham voting for Johnson to get Brexit done you know times are not normal.

Sad to see but we are turning more into the American style of politics.
