Oh because you can always trust the non partisan bastion of good standards that is SKY News in such situations...

I've watched it multiple times and it looks like people to me. Not arsed with who SKY dig up to push their agenda, I've got my own pair of eyes
As much as I do not like the guy, it does look like he is muttering the word "people" and have thought so ever since I saw the clip nearly 24 hours ago.
And agree with your feelings about Sky news. Nothing more than a television equivalent of a magazine. I can never take it seriously, I'm sorry to say.

Throw our news media directly into the nearest bin.

I agree with him. Disrespecting parliament is not giving it a vote on the Brexit deal. It's not showing parliament the legal guidance for that deal until forced to do so. And frankly, carrying on like a bunch of yahoos whilst many in the country are deeply concerned about what is afoot is deeply disrespectful to the country.

While I don't particularly like the man, at first glance I thought he said 'people' because 'an' requires a wide, opening mouth while 'le' is a narrow mouth.

Slowed down however, a few lip-readers have suggested that it is in fact woman that he muttered, so who knows. Based on that, then the whole furore is crass!

No interest, not even going to look, but I suspect the plosive 'p' would be the one to look for.

What he actually said was 'stupid womble' so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. He must have been reminiscing about an Arsenal v Wimbledon game while May was blabbering on about something.

The whole thing is utterly farcical. Here we are, the country's facing its worst crisis since World War II, and people in the media are making a fuss about this non story.

Personally, I don't care a jot what Corbyn said, but if he did call May a stupid woman, so what? People on all sides of the House have said much worse things.
