A big issue in politics is that many people don't understand it / don't recognise what politics they fall under.

I had a chap yesterday on here call me "right wing" yet this individual has in the past defended a well known bigot and a number of the posters who "liked" said post have previous form for defending Boris Johnson's corruption, worshipping Tory Frank Lampard and a covid anti vaxxer. You couldn't make it up but that shows where we're at lol

I have to be careful what I say RE politics these days. What I can say is that many who claim to be "Left" on social media platforms will often be Centrists or even the opposite end of the spectrum.

There shall be no arena my friend - @ForeverBlue92 doesn't have the time neither the desire to engage with intellectually deprived individuals.

Gibberish, as usual.

The truth of the matter is we have 3 choices as a country regarding public services, especially the NHS.

1 Mass immigration to increase our younger population, get them paying tax and supporting the NHS while not using it much.

2 Higher taxes to pay the ever increasing bills, putting huge pressure on the decreasing working population to pay for the older generation who are living longer

3 A mixed system of public and private healthcare provision, where companies provide private healthcare and people pay where they can afford it.

All 3 are unpalatable to the electorate but 3 is what will happen.

3 is kinda already happening as access to the NHS is so poor that those who can afford to go private are probably already doing so.

That's a recipe for disaster that the 'Labour' Party will add to.

Streeting: “Labour would use the spare capacity in the private sector to get patients seen faster”.

In reality that sees NHS money pumped into private hospitals who already get billions subsidising them from government and contribute nothing to training the army of doctors working in them and NHS waiting lists will therefore lengthen.

People who believe that the Tories being ousted will transform the NHS for the better should take a look at what Starmer and Co. have planned...it's more of the same and then some.

So yet again you're blaming the Labour party for something the Tory party are already doing, but you are saying it as fact, when in reality Labour are not in power and haven't been for 13 years. Change the record Dave you are becoming an incredible bore.

Streeting is going further than the Tories. That's what he's outlined.

You can ignore that if you like.
