They wont get my vote and I implore others not to vote for them.

Red Torys.
So keep the blue tories in to spite them then mate?
Look how the last 13 years has turned out to see if that's a good idea for the working class.
Anybody saying don't vote Labour might as well just say vote for tories , because that's the outcome. of that action
Class traitors and heartless quisling fools
if they do
I am not a great fan of the modern Labour Party.
But I can't wait to get my x in the box to get rid of this lot of this disgusting shower of dishonest carpet baggers.

No not just dont vote Labour, vote for any progressive party who are running against them in any constituency, be that the Greens or any socialist party that may be standing.

This lot are outrageous in how little they pledge to do for people to climb out of the hole the Toeries have dug.

There's virtually nothing they're planning that the Tories aren;t stewaling of them because they're essentially no check on ingrained inequality.

It'll be just a change a name over the door.

So vote green, or anybody else get the tories in again?
We have tried the last three elections to get a more socialist Labour party in,we got trounced and worse thing about it most of us knew it was going to happen.
I want the tories out if the price to pay is a more moderate Labour party so be it as long as the win.

I do from a tribal point of view. I've always voted Labour even for Blair's lot because they built hospitals and had a more progressive taxation policy and were dead set on a N.I. peace deal. But this Starmer party are unrecognisable as Labour to me...and I doubt I'm alone.

They'll get in and change nothing and sicken everyone by the end of their first couple of years in office. That would be my guess.

Exactly. It pushes ‘centrism’ further right.

If Labour don’t win the next election you’d hope internal reviews would find that pandering to the right doesn’t necessarily get you elected and perhaps delivering clear and positive messages does.
Can see them sneaking in as part of a coalition and hailing it a massive success and a victory for ‘centrist politics’ however.
Obviously it’s better than the crooks in charge now but it’s still completely grim.
The country simply will not survive another Tory government.

It's unthinkable.

I honestly believe this is on purpose, and we will only see what Starmer wants to do, towards the election. If he spills the beans now, it gives the torys time to cost it and rip ut apart, or steal it.

I honestly don't think it matters at this point. He could say he is gonna charge for gp appointments and still win in a landslide.
This is exactly it.

The amount of policies knicked by Boris' Gov particularly was amazing.

Advocateing for people to vote for any other political party under the UK's current political system makes you either incredibly naive or a Tory apologist.

Either way, it's a grim read.

Unfortunately not voting labour or Tory will keep the Tories in.

I hate Starmer almost as much as the Tories but what can you do!

The 'Labour' Party are worthless. They have nothing to recommend them. Why on earth would any socialist advocate anything other than voting for a party with more socialist policies than a right wing Tory second XI?

You seem to be saying "if you dont vote for Starmer's 'Labour' you'll continue to get the other Tory Party."

That's no deterrent to anyone really is it?

'Labour' will win the next election. They'll be in office for one term and then the Labour Party will be out of office for the next 20 years. That'll be the outcome of voting for a party that's determined to continue with the neo-liberal policies of the Tories with a less sleazy front desk...for now.

And that pattern will continue as long as the FPTP voting system is used.
Neither of the main parties want to change it.
