It's improved my life no end. Do please pass my thanks to Jeremy the next time you see him.

Inevitable consequences.

If we were able to force a general election, I'd fully expect that Labour would put a pause to article 50 and then spend 5 years trying to repair the damage inflicted by ideological cuts from the extreme right-wing zealots that comprise that have ruled.

Unfortunately, there's no Churchill waiting in the wings to bring the country together. The way things are going, the time from when Article 50 was invoked to when we actually "leave" could be longer than the war was, which does seem bizarre.

This unfortunately is the truth......

Might I use the over-running engineering works being conducted by Network Rail that have resulted in all trains in/out of Waterloo this morning being cancelled to score political points about the horrors of nationalised rail entities?

If we had credible opposition the whole brexit saga wouldn't be half as messy. You hear Labour MP's and supporters calling for a general election where the country gets to decide between one party that hasn't got a plan for brexit against another who also don't.

If we had any of the previous 5 Labour leaders they would set out their stall to remain and the country would at least get a choice if it came back to a GE.

For all you know they were held up by a privatised utility company, ya big populist ranter x

But we do have a choice, it's just not about Brexit.

The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people don't care about Brexit. Poll after poll after poll points toward the NHS as being the primary concern - and that's unlikely to change.

Labour are offering an alternative on that issue, in answering wider questions concerning public spending.

Moreover, it's important to understand that there's a process to all of this. It was agreed at conference that Labour would try to force a General Election, and if we failed to achieve that goal, we'd then openly advocate for a referendum on the terms of the deal.

Set unachievable goals.

Sit back.

Enjoy.

Yep, May held an election she remained as PM, narrowly, and if people thought the Tory party would pull together over Europe Union have look at their history on this issue. What is amusing is May has taken a long widdle on Thatcher's EU legacy.

That is exactly what the Tories would want them to do. They would love to paint Labour as opposing the will of the people (the racist 20% at least).
