R.I.P. Labour Party…you are right of course, Boris is getting slated from all the media, his own party and the public, and Starmer still cannot lay a glove on him or generate support for Labour. Starmer is a waste of space, he is no politician, people wouldn’t follow him to the pub bar even if he bought the drinks….unless the Tories themselves bring down Boris he is safe, and they will win the next GE…..
You are so out of touch with reality. It’s fun to watch you keep on keeping on.

Johnson has self imploded. It’s like getting to the end of a really [Poor language removed] novel that nobody particularly enjoyed reading.

Country in the absolute gutter after 12 years of Tory austerity lies followed by 3 years of Nazi behaviour.

Only the stupid aren’t now catching on.

Sorry to break it to you.

I don't understand why Labour aren't making a big song and dance about cleaning up parliament so that the flagrant abuses imposed on it by Johnson cannot be repeated in future.

no political party can clean up parliament, it would be like asking Paddy Power to deal with problem gamblers

So it's impossible for Labour to say that the ministerial code will have actual teeth, that the electoral commission will be able to regulate not only campaigning but ministerial statements, and so on? That's "actually" impossible for any sitting politician to say? Heavens. We're in a situation whereby trust in politicians is at incredibly low levels, and the opposition to the party that has done more than most to create such a situation can't do a single thing to try and create a more honest and trustworthy politics. I'm afraid that's pathetic and gives Labour no right to criticise the Tories on any moral matter again.

I thought Beergate had already proven that tbh….

It's not really meant to have teeth I don't think. Parliament's run by convention.

you should be on the stage as a comedian lad, how you have the absolute gaul to mention beergate, when your own party is a gang of drunks is beyond me, you should be keeping your head down cowering in shame, or are you drinking again...
Go easy on him mate he's only on his 3rd bottle of wine ??????

Let's face it. Where lockdown contraventions are concerned the Tories have Labour beaten all ends up.
Starmer's pathetic bottle of beer and a few dry roasted versus what sounds like a regular Libertines post-gig do is no contest.
Civil servants are the new rock stars.
