If someone uses that as an excuse to vote Tory then they’d find another reason if they weren’t there.

They won't necessarily use it as the reason to vote Tory; they'll use it as the reason not to vote Labour.

Labour have to give people a reason to vote for them. You don't do that with David bloody Lammy.

Funny, Wes Streeting and Rachel Reeves being in Starmer's cabinet are two big reasons I won't vote for Labour.

There are quite a lot of others, too, mind.

Quite a lot of ex lawyers, Starmer has surrounded himself with, pity he didn't rebut himself out of the way while he was at it, it's plain he isn't cutting it with the voters even in a time of their sleaze and shambolic goverment.
Glad to see Nandy getting a decent job, Lammy and Thornberry through what's he thinking of?

Starmer just doesn't look like a leader of the working man. If you crossed him in the street, you would just say there goes a Tory. In today's politics, you need something people can get hold of. Sommat like, yep, he/she will do for me. Or a mass movement behind you. like Biden did with celebs.
Your not getting that with Starmer. It's not enough just to be a leader of a party now. You got to have something, or the youth won't attach themselves to you. I mean would Boris ever have got in, if he wasn't a bumbling idiot with ridiculous hair? It's silly to say. But he has something people wanted. Pity what people wanted was an idiot. But there we go.

Sooner labour put the king of the north into the top job, the better.

Yvette Cooper up against pritti Patel will be interesting...

It won't. Cooper is dreadful.

Fortunately I am in the lucky position of having a decent Labour MP, so I’ll be voting for her rather than the shower of failures that is around the leadership.

Lucky you, I've got a Tory with a 20,000+ majority and Labour in a distant 3rd after the LD's.

Tbf I'd still vote Labour if it meant keeping a Tory out, even if the party is a circular firing squad that still thinks it's the '90s.
