Around 1 in 5 Brits believe other races are inherently less intelligent, and up to 44% believe other races to be less hard working. Are you suggesting that such attitudes should be blithely accepted?

I'm suggesting that sections of the left may want to decide whether being Wesley or Attlee is the better bet for success; the kind of success which can enable them to lead society to more enlightened views.

Grim stats. Not just unique to the U.K. of course.
Id imagine many of those 44% would take offence to being called racist as well.

Interesting timing.. on the day a muslim black man murders a white middle aged man.

In direct response to this

Absolutely.

Crudely put in U K terms, that part of the left which feels free to proclaim loudly that a significant part of the electorate is thick and racist and five minutes later begs for their vote, pave the road for election failure.
You'll note that the article I quote is not from this week.

Thought I’d post this survey from Germany to highlight cultural differences. It shows the percentage of voters of all mainstream parties in favour of increasing tax on high earners. Even CDU and FDP voters, who are conservative and pro business and free market etc, are mostly in favour. But when Corbin wanted to do this he was denounced as a commie

The press attacks on Corbyn were the biggest political smear campaign I’ve ever seen. Don’t think people can disagree with that no matter what there political persuasions.
The question should be why was he attacked and undermined so much.

Press attacked because he was a good man that wanted to right what is wrong, undermined because he was a terrible at management side of leadership, nowhere near ruthless enough.
