£15 minimum wage is an impossibility. Cost of goods and services would have to rise to accommodate it. Then the rise in pay would not be worth as much as they thought. Then everyone else's pay would have to increase as the costs of goods had increased.. messy. He backed the £15 an hour minimum wage, he is now saying that things have changed since he made that commitment, he is right, things have got more expensive. He is not only taking on Tory party clothes he is adopting their propensity for lying.
The cost of goods and services has increased that is why we need a £15 minimum wage.£15 minimum wage is an impossibility. Cost of goods and services would have to rise to accommodate it. By controlling and reducing living costs, like utility prices, cost of housing, food etc etc.. You cant just demand people are paid more. A lot of the businesses that pay minimum wage cannot afford to pay £15 p/h.What would your plan be to help those who were struggling and then had a wage that has gone up 2% whilst cost of living has gone up over 3%?

Been a disaster this week.
They have such an open goal with the country in collapse and they’re too focused on identity politics and infighting with eachother.

He did, and he should. He is the leader of the Labour Party, a party of the left. As the leader of a party of the left it is for him to espouse the principles of the left not change them to suit his gentrified ideal of the left. If he disagrees with the ideolo the Labour then maybe he is in the wrong party.Did he though?
…I always thought Starmer needs to set things up for somebody else. If Labour are to become electable, he needs to stand firm and see off the Momentum left just as Kinnock did with Militant.
Rule change has to be applied, power to elect the leader has to be within the remit of MPs and not the members.
