Yak out on loan is a strange one, as mind boggleing as Joey on loan to Gala, im thinking freeing up wages here!

It looks like that's part of it. The other part being that it would have to be a punt for a club to pay out on an over-weight, rusty striker. Get him showing what he can still do and we might get closer to his market value.

If he goes on loan I'm gonna be most fuming. Doesn't benefit us in any way. If Moyes doesn't want him sell the guy instead and get someone you do want.

Leicester have loads of money. Bleed them dry....and get a free bag if salt and vinegar thrown in.

Have they?

They may do in the summer. But where exactly are you getting this impression they have loads of money now?

They made a £6million loss last year. And their debt was marginally reduced by their Chairman putting £10million into the club. i.e. paying off £4million debt.

Their turnover is only £15million.

So where is this loads of money coming from?

Ill go one better, if he leaves for anything under 7 million we've been had, fuming wouldnt be the word.

Mainly from gibberish spoken by a friend who supports them.

PS. Their new owner's combined wealth is only £200million. The most they personally could put in would be £15million.

So it's a load of BS to assume they've got cash now.

They're gambling on Premier League money to finance a move in the summer it looks like.

Alright statto. As I said it's just stuff my mate said. They do spend quite freely compared to other Championship clubs and Sven can't be cheap so I had no reason to doubt him.

However I will relay the stats above to him tomorrow and look smug at him.

Yakubu will sign for Leicester City after passing a medical tomorrow. He joins on season long loan but there's scope for a permanent move

EDIT: My guess is we are freeing up salary to get a loan striker.

EDIT2: Blergh, got beaten by the other thread.

I know a Leciester City fan too a fairly wadded one who's got a box there. I just nod when they say stuff like that.

They are confident of promotion this season though... it would seem.

This is where the "scope" is coming from....

Hope so...unless it's Jo again.

Wasn't going to confirm this but seen as though it's been put out there , yes people he's joining Leicester on LOAN !!! Permanent deal in the summer if things go to plan ! Very surprising given West Ham were offering money up front ! I'm very disappointed given that one of our replacements is now looking like a non starter '!!

Curiouser and curiouser! Is the proposed fee that Leicester are offering more than West Ham could come up with? Maybe we don't want to strengthen a possible relegation rival?

I'm hearing that West Ham offered 2-3 mill (some game add ons) and believe Leicester's is more like 4.5 rising to 5mill on apps and success etc !!
