Really great thread LCAB/THT, keep up the good work. It's made my transfer window marginally less depressing. You see, usually I'll sit there and wish and hope and pray right up until about 11am on feb 1st and am always bitterly let down but this time I feel better equipped to deal with the sadness.

Still got a few bottles of vintage bleach ready of course.

I deplore the way Everton operate, why do they leave it so late.
Im in a quandary, Love Everton to bits but Im losing faith. When i think of Everton I feel half empty.

Hi there LCAB, im sure you remember me. Where i was accused of being a hater of yours, which i hasten to add, im not. In pm i told you of my job, and i trust that you know im not someone who blindly adores you, which im sure some do ha. Anyway, i think you and THT have handled the window very well, but of course we know what will be being said this time next week. Oh im side tracking now, my bad.
I just want to say that this post you made was top notch, straight to the point, no bull, and if anyone is a 100% true blue, then im sure the words lept out of the page and slapped you in the face a few times as it did with me.
Im not a fan of BK at all tbh, at time its very difficult to get an honest reply to an offer. However, i have not nor ever would post my personal opinion of him and some board members.
Keep up he good work guys, and lets hope a new dawn will rise upon Everton FC and Goodison park sooner rather than later. And like you said Mr LCAB, rather than booing players maybe the boo's should be directed a little higher than gound level.

Hey first time poster in this thread here. Would also just like to thank everyone involved it must be incredibly difficult to know information and how close we are to signing certain players then realising that no matter how hard we want something the board just seem to play it safe.

I sort of see where the board is coming from in a way as they are I am sure really caring about the club but somehow they need to loosen the reins.

It is sort of like when a you mother doesn't want you to go anywhere because she know your safe wither her but in actual fact you could be out there (in the transfer market) making decisions for yourself and if you make mistakes you will be better off for it.

So the board I feel has the right intentions but really probably need to give Moyes some more leniency and reward hom for what he has dones for this club.

When Moyes first took over I was an eight year old kid from Australia so I do not know life without hom as Everton's manager and I really want to keep it that way as the way he has built this club up and the time and effort he has put in is great, surely he deserves the boards backing and trust when he needs it most? Or maybe when the board does start to panic about relegation and having to pump money into the squad it could be all to late.

Anyway thats my take and again thanks to Lcab and THT for making some great discusions here.
 
The saddest thing for me is that this whole mess has all been on display for all of us to witness for over 1 decade.

From the kings dock fiasco to the NTL debacle, to the gosling contract issue and you could go on and on!

YET, so many blues still stick by this joke of a man and the entire board!!!!

What other monumental fark ups must take place before the majority sit up and realize that the board is a cancer on our great club and DO SOMETHING about it? Protest, start voicing your opinions at the game. Some say it's not the Everton way.... Who gives a fark? Are you happy to just sit by and watch the club go back to it's mediocre ways of the 90's etc?

The worst part of all is the Kenwright sympathizers. Seriously, wake up and smell the roses, the idea that fellow blues can defend these bunch of clowns after all that has taken place right before our very eyes makes me sick.
