In a way, i think so yes. It would allow us to drop/rest Arteta until he's back on blob. And you can never have too many good players these days.
Obviously, i'd like to see us sign a striker, a winger and a centre half first (and in that order), but if Moyes wants Adam, we've zero chance of getting him right now
 
Blackpool offered him 10k, this was down to money in regards to Hammill. No way would Moyes offer that kind of money. Holloway hit the nail on the head re: agents, wages and fees etc.

Heitinga has been poor when played out of position in centre midfield but looked pretty accomplished at centre half.

I prefer Heitinga to Jags to be honest, but only because his distribution is far far better. But if you're going to sell someone, it has to be Heitinga as he's the least committed to the club and has made noises about being open to a "big" move.

I just get the feeling in the scenario of we keep one and sell the other, we'd get more loyalty out of Jagielka. I could be wrong, of course!

Nice one Smithy. I used to be a bit more like some people in here and post asking who we signing and all that lark but when we're ready, we will be told.

And for anyone who posts saying "I think we should go after Lilian Thuram" or someone hypothetical who we've never been linked with - PACK IT IN!

That is not a contribution, if you're gonna talk about players, at least make it ones that we can afford/are after, it's not Football Manager.

All in all - we still haven't got any doe.
 
I remember the last few transfer windows sitting and praying that we would purchase lorik Cana he seemed like the perfect option for our midfield, didnt know much about him just that he was a beast in the centre and that he liked a challenge (you tube)

i sit with bated breath each window wondering what will happen and in truth all the names with exception of Fuller give me a little tingle in my tummy (im so manly)

but i have learnt a lesson when it comes to Everton...let the chips fall where they may, i do love having saurons eye (LCAB) watching over us and giving us the TRUTH about what is happening over in the blue corner....

but seriously until that last second ticks away on the sky news ticker i believe anything is possible, like the kid who chopped his arm off in that new film.....i always have hope

really wouldnt mind seeing robbie keane on loan here though- i personally believe he has a job to do and with regular action could be a great option for us...
