I appear to have missed a Ferris Bueller conversation.

That annoys me.

I was soo tempted to keep it going too, but didnt want to take the shine out of here, so I've added a pic in the GOT mid morning thread, it appears any topic flies in there! =)

Given that we have no money I'd love to see us take a chance on Nugent. He always impressed me when he played. Never had a chance to play regularly at Portsmouth under Arry. Had a nice goal total on Barnsley and that was after Coyle went and he had limited service at best. He'd bleed for us and if he became good (players with size like DM peak at 29-32) he'd never leave us.

I concur mate, I've always wanted him . Works hard , got a decent touch and would be here in a shot !!

Sadly, there is no Shermer, IL. Totally made up. Uncle Buck, he's a fair agent.
I heard that same thing through two guys I know, Jay and Bob. Solid lads, but Jay smokes a bit too much of the green stuff, and Bob is pretty quiet. From here on out, I will move my ill fated attempts at clever comments to the Alio and Muggins show. Good stuff Chicago.

Ahhh but the $6 million question is... could Nugent play 451?

To break the tension of the transfer drama, a bit of entertainment news:

While we are on movie remakes, it looks like Tottenham Hotspur will be sending a few of their favorite sons to Holywood for a remake of the beloved Wizard of Oz.

First off, who better to play a 'Scary Tree" than the "Ugly Tree" himself: Peter Crouch!

"Don't pick that apple Dorothy, it's a sour sort know as a "Red Sh*te"

Next we have Hairy "Arry Redknapp in his second big role as: The Cowardly Lion. Heard he is so cowardly he is even scared of candies. Something called the Toffees?

And who better to be the Wicked Witch's little winged primate bitch? Look no further than Dr. Zaius look-a-like Gareth Bale!
