My sources (by which I mean scurrilous internetz rumours) tell me of a young striker by the name of Garra Dembele on his way to replace the Yak.

Anyone heard anything along those lines?

Y'know, I really hate it when we get linked with players from lower inferior leagues and people who have never seen them in action go into hysterics, saying 'Oh, god, please, no' and 'He's not fit to lace [player]'s boots'. Eagles and/or Adam would have been great additions and in any case players should be given a chance to prove themselves.

That having been said, as a native of Sofia, my reaction is:
OH GOD PLEASE NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. He's not fit to lace Anichebe's boots.

PS: Technically, his goalscoring record is the impressive sounding 26 goals in 26 games. What the statistics don't tell you is what kind of games.

PS2: If our court system wasn't in shambles, Garra Dembele's next club would have been "Sofia Central Prison United", or some such. Still may happen, though.

PS3: Let me assure you, though: Garra Dembele is not coming to Everton.
