Johnny deserves to be in the starting 11 week in week out. He adds steel and a bit of composure on the ball from the back!!

Jags is our defensive marshall and Distin is our most in form defensive player.

Short of one of them getting injured or losing form, I don't think we can play Heitinga there, really.

It's actually a pity the sweeper system is out of fashion. Heitinga could be a boss sweeper.

It is a bit though, they aren't great as a partnership. Seperately, boss players, together they don't have a great understanding.

Not sure I'd agree with you there lad. The games I saw the back end of last season they seemed to work together pretty well. Not perfect like, but they looked together to me.
