ouch! I was lucky enough to meet him last wednesday at Schiphol airport, he was on the same flight as me back to Manchester.
What a lovely guy! Very chatty, really softly spoken and just well, gorgeous!
I asked him if he knew how much the fans loved him and he said (in that sexy accent), 'yesh, I think sho, itsh a very good feeling'.

For an awful moment I thought he might have been injured hence his being in Amsterdam midweek but he said he was visiting family.

I loved him to bits before then, love him even more now.
Once I work out how to download pics off my phone I'll post it.
No one else seemed to recognise him though. How strange!

Step aside Nuno, John Heitinga is the man.

Hes been absolutely outstanding for the past 10 games or so and such a tank in midfield. I wouldn't have thought I could be so impressed with this man, he is just brilliant.

Went for a few pints after the game on County Road..(suprise!!) When i got in the taxi on the way home we pulled up next to a BMW X6. An Johnny was in the Passenger seat. Well we were all hanging out the window singing his name. He ****** loved it, he was goin mad in the car...an his mate was buzzin.

Never thought he would made such a big impression at Everton, when we signed him. Has proved to be a tremendous signing though. Looks like he found his home away from home. think he genuinly loves playing for this club.

Btw, what price would you be willing to pay for a shirt with his name on the back and officially signed by him?

Well i was all of a doo dah with excitement so can't remember his forearms but I did have my arm around his waist.!

ta laar, been away in Italy following a family berevement, came back last wednesday, that's how I met 'The Man'.

Also had to have one of the dogs put to sleep while I was away so it's been a crappy couple of weeks to be honest.
