I feel like the 2018 Summer was worse than this for heat just because it seemed to be hot for like the whole year.

Think the highest it got was just under 36.0. Somewhere in the midlands if my memory serves me right. There were plagues of flesh-eating ladybirds too that summer. Some of them as big as cats......He said trying to beef up the story.

I remember we eventually had rain about the first or second week in August. It started about 2 in the morning & woke everybody up. There were loads of us lads outside in our undies just standing there soaking it all up.

Incredible as it may seem, hot water can sometimes freeze quicker than cold water. It's known as the Mpemba effect.

I remember back in 1976 we could just walk to Ireland oon foot. It was that dry.
The Queen Elisabeth 2 (the ship) had to be dug out of the ground and was transferred in pieces back to Southampton for repairs. By God it was hot.

Flirted with 43 C here yesterday, might get there today and tomorrow. Then it "cools off" to 36 C by Thursday. I can't remember the last time it rained at my house, maybe May? Excited to have more and more summers like this, on top of having the Taliban run my state/country.
