Green energy, understand its very important for the future of the Planet, our kids, kids. But heard all kinds of rumours about how much more expensive it would be to run a home with and don't know whether that is scaremongering or even true, because Christ knows most people are struggling to pay their energy bills as it is. I'd ask Dave as he seems a Champion of the Green Party, but as you know he's hardly ever on this thread...

If we had invested in renewable energy when we had planned and we dropped the arbitrary price fixing linking renewables to fossil fuels we would have been far more decoupled from the resource shock that effected us when Russia invaded Ukraine.

I was impressed with what The Greens had to offer last Local Election and I very nearly voted for them.
If Labour arent the answer, hopefully they can start picking up traction in the next few years and offer an alternative to the stale 2 Party system we have going on.

Suppose it will come down to funding and a massive gooseberry jam sale... Sure as hell wont be those pimping and pontificating around in their electric cars they wont be surrendering the kick backs or opportunity to wag figures they get from my green levies as I ride about in my all i can afford petrol car.
