Will take votes off the Green Party de facto place to go for disaffected socialists.

Fuel poverty is real made worse by Green Levies, there are other factors of course. Green levies should be paid by those who can already afford to run electric cars, not by those struggling to keep warm.

Nice try...

If as a country many years ago we never stalled pushing renewables ( IE changing the feed in tariff for PV ) or we paid for the upkeep of our storage facilities in the North Sea. When the Ukraine war started our bills would have not dramitically rised within a small space of time.

Green Levies will save people money in the longterm.

Seems you have been sucked into the likes of GBEEBIES news who claim the chase to Net Zero is costing us money. If we don't become self reliant we will be relying on the Oil and Gas markets and eventually these prices will sky rocket.

Surprised if socialists do vote green - the soft rotary-club Toryism that is the major strand of green party DNA feels like it would be too much of an issue - they can sense these impure foundations.

Founded by a group of Tory councillors in the early 70s, fittingly in response to an article from Paul Erlich - the wrongest man of the twentieth century. Face of the party in the 70s was man of the people Edward Goldsmith.
The current Green party corpus of loons who think crystals cure cancer occludes the Tory / Eugenic roots of the movement.
Greens or Starmer then ? I don't feel you've helped that much mate. Thankfully might be Plaid for me, please don't tell us they fired monkeys and lab's into space in the sixties.

The party's ideology combines environmentalism with left-wing economic policies, including well-funded and locally controlled public services. It advocates a steady-state economy with the regulation of capitalism, and supports proportional representation. It takes a progressive approach to social policies such as civil liberties, animal rights, LGBT rights, and drug policy reform. The party also believes strongly in non-violence, universal basic income, a living wage, and democratic participation. It is split into various regional divisions, including the semi-autonomous Wales Green Party, and is internationally affiliated with the Global Greens and the European Green Party.

I don’t know Tommy. Maybe you’ll find an answer here

No, sorry. May have missed it but apart from some sort of pledge to clean up the air, I see nothing else to improve people’s lives. Victorian housing should be compulsory purchased on a staggered scale, demolished and decent properties built to house the displaced. There is a cost to that though which the country won’t meet. Would even go along with taking down half of every other street to provide outside space, then where does the excess go? As I’ve said before, not seen my MP, but he’s defo more interested in Palestine than Walton and that pisses me off (Dan Carden)
