have to say that based on the effort on the ground I have seen, Lab probably deserve to win Putney. They've been heavily canvassing while I have seen didley squat from the defending tories.
 
That contributed to Brexit, which in turn contributed to this. No doubt in my mind.
You can even say it started with John Smith. What was that part of the Labour Party constitution he changed? If I recall right it was something to do with unions having a vote in the leadership.

Also the SNP would never have made inroads in Scotland with the Executive. That got them comfortable with SNP running the show. But Scotland was a key part of the Labour coalition.
 
Genuinely devastating for Labour this. Can't bear the thought of Johnson in Government with a majority.

I know people have voted for this, but there are going to be some rude awakenings for some of these voters in the next 5 years.

Labour needs to get it's act together quickly because the next 5 years they will be needed more than ever.
