I think the Putney results is a strong indication that the dividing lines in the country are fundamentally shifting. Lab are now very much the party of the cities and urban vote. Tories are a coalition working class leave and middle class rural areas.

I’m disgusted at this. I’m 22 and neve in my life have I felt so hopeless. Just can’t believe the arl bas****s have completely done us over. My parents are completely beside themselves. This Tory government will ruin our country.

I’ve been on the ale since the the exit poll.

beyond disgusted that we have an electorate who will commit murder by voting this Tory government in.

Tories - the party of those “left behind!”

Unfortunately, that´s a hell of a lot more seats for the Tories to pick up. Got to win those northern towns back somehow.

Banks is being interviewed on RTE.

He says, and I quote, "Northern Ireland stands to do better from Brexit than Great Britain because it keeps one foot in the EU".

The interviewer was incredulous and asked him "well if NI is better off would it not be better if GB stayed in as well".

Banks just started waffling.
