She comes down here and makes her points on her terms. It's quite an easy play for her and one she has perfected over the years. Never seen her flustered which is a brilliant trait for a politician to have.

Being the public face of Scottish Independence and not getting it is quite a good position to be in. She can talk the talk without the burden of walking the walk. Being the populist outsider is a great benefit. If Scotland became independent you'd soon see a fair bit of fluster as soon as the blame for things couldn't be shifted onto the Colonialists of Whitehall.

Boris Johnson and many others tried the same tactic then had it blow up in their face when Leave won the referendum and they had to deliver it and show how good it was. Ideally for them Remain would have won and then they could have bemoaned the fact, rode the popularity that generated but hidden behind a false respect for the democratic process and the will of the majority as an excuse not to challenge it again.

Corbyn won hands down.

I think I'd rather the country was run by a handful of unelected technocrats than go through any more of these elections which are bought and paid for.

Sickening isn't it, vast majority of this country are brainwashed by Tory supporting media, Labour announces plans to improve the lives of at least 95% in the country and the donuts don't want it because Boris Johnson is a character.

The whole thing is rigged by the rich to give the the Tories a massive advantage.

Sturgeon did well but there's a pretty low bar for her to impress. There's not much she can mess up given her position and the limited reach she's going for.

Corbyn rode the waves fairly well. The Brexit one was the trickiest and I thought he did alright and his neutral position came across as reasonable to me but will remain a stick for others to beat him with which is kind of understandable.

Swinson could have done better and her voting record is always going to see her struggle against a lot of criticisms.

Johnson was a predictable car crash - the man can't speak unless it's stage managed entirely on his own terms. It's unfathomable that the Conservative party overlooks so many to put him at the top.

Swinson is just lucky the media aren't gunning for her. If Corbyn had put in her performance tonight, it would have been game over with the wall to wall coverage on how abysmal he was.

I do think a lot of people who were considering the Lib Dems will revert back to Labour. Also reckon there's every chance we have a similar scenario to 2017 where the two main parties get a huge share of the vote. The biggest obstacle to that is the Brexit Party.
