Am I alone in thinking that if we add Pienaar then we will be in decent shape next season?

Moyes always has been 2 steps forwards, one step back.

Hit nail on the head, some player need to be let off the leach, Moyes has done some great work but he needs to evolve as a manager, he needs a plan B when plan A is not working we need to change our shape, at home we need to really attack teams, we have the shape and formation home/away regardless who we play

Everything remains the same with Moyes, his preference is low risk, set piece, holding sort of game. If Landon played a full season here he'd look half the player dealing with the Moyes style week in week out - the same will happen to Jelavic.

Any future improvement can only happen without Moyes - 10 yrs for what he does is ridiculous.

There you go, some more patting on the head for us, supporters of David Moyes' Everton FC.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2130214/David-Moyes-leave-Everton.html

Every other team in the league, bar united and arsenal, weve beaten home or away.

Weve never done that under moyes against the rs. Its a mental block that effects the players. Its the end of level boss you can't defeat. Until we win at anfield, we will never beat them under moyes.

If Moyes is offered a bigger job than Everton, he won't, but lets say he did. He wouldn't last one season before he is found out and will dissapear into the lower leagues for good.

This is the year we will see how much he is in demand (if at all) Past seasons there haven't really been any jobs that would sway him, this year there will potentially be, Chelsea, Tottenham, City (maybe). In my mind, not one of those teams will take Moyes, Tottenham due to his defensive nature, Chelsea only want foreign bosses with Euro experience and there's no way City will offer him the job.

Every pundit seems to be saying this year will be the year he leaves us, to who though? Perhaps abroad, but not here?

In a lot of sports in a lot of countries, better managers than moyes have been sacked for getting bummed repeatedly by their rival.

Just read that article, surely Chelsea and spurs wouldn't be interested in moyes, and he wouldn't go to villa, just like last summer

if he went to villa he wouldn't be able to field a team, all they have atm is youngsters, and he wouldn't play any of them, that would be a dilemma

Well LCAB says 1 or 2 outs and 3 or possibly 4 in, although it's obviously early to speculate.

I just hope to god that one of the outs isn't Fellaini.

this will not be happening unless we get offered around £50 million, why would they have tied him to such a long contract, the highlight of the season 4 me.

£50m ? I doubt the offer would need to be anywhere near that high.

We sold Rooney, our best young talent in years, for £25m.

Inflation my friend. Although I agree that we would sell for less than 50 mil.

The way I see it, we don't need to consistently put out Fellaini and Gibson, unless we decide to play Fellaini behind the striker on a regular basis. If they are to play consistently in the center, we need one of Fellaini/Gibson and a world class playmaking/attacking midfielder, which we should be able to afford if we sell Fellaini. Ideally, Barkley plays behind Jelavic.

I would play (given our financial realities):

Jeli
Barkley
Pienaar/new playmaker/Gibson/Gueye
Baines/Heit/(Jags or Distin)/warm body
