Dave Smallman was a very unlucky player, looked a good signing from Wrexham, had an eye for goal and was set for a good career with Everton, ( IMO ) but then got a series of injuries and illnesses and never got back to his general good form. Did he retire early, don't know where he went to after leaving The Blues.
