I agree with dead_soft: How is "trolling" in any way virtuous or masterful? It just seems to be a bunch of anonymous juvenile idiots spewing tiny antagonistic sound-bytes.

They got the reaction they were after. It was an elaborate plan to show that something so innocent and truthful as saying it's ok to be white can get a rise out of certain people.

And interesting article, but I agree with the content of the twitter feed...the article was pretty soft and lame, as if it was some "Sunday leisure read" and not an article about someone who supports and admires an individual and party that is responsible for murdering 6,000,000 people.

Chances are, they have no idea, so it's important to let them know (if you're not happy about it)

Isn't it just an algorithm which knows what sites you've been watching and then offers advertisements automatically based on your viewing history ?

Fairly sure your average right wing american won't be getting an Everton advert appearing on their page, just Everton fans.

Exactly as Longers says. Google ads are based upon your own viewing history, not any tacit decision by either advertiser or publisher.

Outwardly I would agree with your statement, and as we have shown in our own city direct protest against these people works. However the web is another matter altogether. I suspect that people on the far right of the political spectrum are not at all happy debating with those who oppose their views on a rational face to face basis and instead hide behind their keyboards spewing hate and prejudice which in turn influences those who are scum and mail readers etc into believing that there might be a grain of truth in what they preach. Their presence has been given a sort of official stamp in figures such as Trump which is to me profoundly disturbing...in real life I feel that you have to try and challenge all forms of prejudice as best you can..not always easy
