Johnson has had 3 day’s coverage for his Bannon inspired dog whistle racism. That poll shows that the he’s struck a chord with the bigots. Now he’s refusing to back down, and the ‘free tommy’ types will start yelling about freedom of speech and before the week is out Johnson will be somehow become the ‘victim’. It’s no coincidence that he spent time with Bannon only the other week and has openly admitted to having phone and text conversations with him, this is straight from his playbook. Johnson’s problem would be ensuring he got down to the last 2 in a leadership contest. If he did and it’s then down to the rank and file to choose, then this kind of shizzle sees him a winner. I agree that it’s dangerous but he’s playing to an audience that are lapping it up, what does that tell us?

We're headed toward a world of competing nations/blocs where 'Great Men' living parasitically within the bodies of once legitimate parties can seize and command power.

The main problem is capitalism. It's almost defunct and cant act like a global system anymore. Capacity is huge and they wont invest for fear of invigorating the working class and their institutions. It's latest desperate measure to survive and avoid socialism/a social democratic plan is through breathing life into nation states, and by doing that encourage right wing extremists to provide an ideology to keep the mass of the population from gravitating toward a collectivist ideology and approach to solving global problems.

It tells you all you need to know about that wing of the Tory Party. There are some very dangerous people amongst them. They would happily allow another civil war to erupt in N/Ireland, for example, if it meant getting their way.

Then you have Boris...a potential born again poster boy for 'the new nazi lite' with his pillar box comments...effectively 'road testing' just how much he can get away with, In a possible gathering of rightist votes, while along the way trolling for as many UKIP, Brexit and other centre right sympathy votes from all demographic and political shades.
If he feels he has a ground swell, he'll be after May again.
