It would appear the players are scared playing at home and much better playing away. Make of that what you will.

It's the chicken and the egg paradox and the current teams obvious shortcomings isn't helping the situation.

Fans weren't up for it - too many interested in blue doughnuts and the like. Different demographic attending now though so it is what it is.

I've been to many a New Year game at Goodison where there's more atomosphere on the moon. It's really not that different at BM atmosphere wise.

The away fans had a great time. I imagine as a home fan you did not. Next time you go, let us know how to be loads better as you put it. In what way were you not better than them today?I will offer my excuse for not being better. We were crap and I could hardly raise a cheer. Brentford were excellent and consequently their fans demonstrated their joy.

Thought the fans could have done better today pal. Improvement starts with accountability to ourselves to push the players on.

I sang for 87 minutes today so am gonna train and push for 90 and stoppage time. Onto my twelfth lozenger here.

You could tell walking up to and into the ground that it was going to be subdued: people have had Christmas and NY and money will be tighter.

Don't forget, for many it'll be back to work properly tomorrow, so having a session on the ale was unlikely.
