If the scarf is provocative, job done. Maybe they should have made one that no one wanted to read?

As for alienating a great many fans - feel free to produce your evidence....

feel free to buy a sad ass scarf.

If they can sell twenty million of them they can buy the club.

And i wont need to produce evidence, some people will buy these, a great many will not, judging by the positive rep my posts had on this thread.

The scarf could have been worded better - personally I'd have baulked at 'No Status'. But the sentiment is correct. The club barely have a profile larger than West Brom these days...that's happened on Kenwright's watch even if it is a cack handed way of putting that.

As for 'No Optimism' - I doubt very much anyone could argue the toss with that statement...and if they do I'd advise them to read Elstone's Plan A, B and C from last night....'there is no future for the club as we stand'.

Is anyone else on other Everton forums? If so what's the general thoughts about this on there?

I am if my word is any good like. Nsno generally love it, clubeverton fifty fifty, bluekipper it is much like here.

We are listening lads and we are considering revising the design or at the very least offering an alternative in the future.

Exhibit No 1: At the height of Keioc "popularity" they call for a protest outside the ground. One doggy bird and her pimp don't persuade the assembled mass to stage a mass protest. Remember this is at the "height" of Keioc "popularity"

Exhibit No2: Apart from those with the leaflets at the fans forum I didn't hear about those other fans telling Kenwright to feck off, or Moyes to stand up to him or do one.

You really do walk into these things when you think thsat the majority of Evertonians think like you. That is the major problem with the scarf. I suspect that it will not go into a second print and we will see a drastically revised version.

Can you really see Evertonians en masse wanting to wear a liverbird? Even if it is blue. No I can't either, irrespective of its history. You might as well put "Lets have Anfield back" on it.

Silas, you're a sound lad, so I apologise in advance if any of my comments offend. You do the one thing most anti board group members don't do, you listen and I respect that.

Sounds ominous! Cheers mate, I helped found this group because I believed in it, we want get it right ask the time but we listen and learn. I hope this marks us out as a little different.

Mate, we're not anti-board. Many of us agree that there may actually be no one out there to buy the club, however we believe that the club hasn't done enough to put us in a strong position given our relative success on-field over the last 10 years. We just want the club to improve, we don't want protest at the moment, as much as these scarves are "protest" scarves they are also meant to demonstrate to the club the discontent of large parts of the fan base with the board.

Personally, by no means do I think Moyes should get a 30 million pound transfer kitty and risk the future of the club, in fact the debt is one of my major concerns and we need to find a way to pay it down. What I want to know is how the club plans to do that when we've increased our debt year on year for quite some time now. We obviously can't continue to operate like this and I want to know what the club plans to do about it. I think the supporters deserve to know what the club is doing to use the relative successes of the club over the last 10 eyars to improve the financial situation.

I am one of the members of Evertonians for Change, by the way.

I should also clarify that we are obviously unhappy with the current board, and that may be why we're portrayed as anti-board, however if they were to demonstrate that they are competent in taking the club forward in the future we would obviously be happy. Our overall goal is to achieve positive change, whether that be with the current board or not.
