It's naive to thing the negative part of the new owner equation

I think this something we need to make clearer. A few people have said to me know, change for change's sake is no good and I totally agree. While "Evertonians for the right Change because we don't want to be another Blackburn" is a little wordy, we need to work on making sure people are aware we want the right sort of changes and once again to be fair to the club, last night's conference was a step in the right direction.

Could you expand on this?

Still laughing at this from the Toffeeweb report on the ST Holders forum:

Robert got straight into things after this, clearly stating there is no transfer budget currently in place for David Moyes to work with. David Moyes decides exactly who comes; Everything is decided by the manager. Not all money made by Everton through player sales will go to David Moyes for squad funding but some will.

Contradiction heaped on contradiction.

Kenwright, Elstone et al are toxic.

How could anyone be happy with that?

Without wanting to say too much before we make our official statement. A fans conference for me is a great idea and a step in the right direction. I would like to see a fan lad forum though were the fans choose the agenda. Elstone answering an array of questions yesterday (including ours) was a very good start. I would also like it to be more of an open forum and not a random, season ticket renewal only event.

Would you be happy if the club gave him all the money from player sales and a 60 million pound war chest only to see us go into administration next year.

Finishing 7th would look pretty special when the receivers rolled in wouldn't it?

We need investment or new owners. We need transparency. Lets fight for that not an alternative reality.

The thing that gets me with the likes of this Elstone feller is that he's a zealot for a free market approach to football - but here he is going to 'customers' and basically telling them that 'the product' he's hawking around is going to get worse but that money should be handed over to him for the priviledge of experiencing this deterioration.

He must piss himself laughing after every single one of these meetings. I bet he's in the 19th hole at his local golf club every Sunday knocking back vodka and tonics telling all his Pringled up tit mates what mugs he cons every year.

If that's the case we need to work on this as we are certainly not a militant group.

You've misinterpreted what I posted.

Sounds like a great deal of people who will support you will want to force Kenwright out of the club regardless of what answers he gives to your questions and regardless of the position that puts the club into.

You can't satisfy both sets of people (or maybe you can?). The moderate ones that espouse the general principles/points wrote on your website and the Kenwright/Elstone et al are toxic set as well.

I absolutely agree with what your saying mate, I was on about who can be happy with that year in year out, we need a change but some people seem to be happy with where we already are.

We have been a middle ground group as much as possible since inception, other people will inevitably try and use us for their own ends but we will continue to try and keep a reasoned approach.

I think a rational approach like the one you have adopted, will pay greater dividends. It's too easy to get emotional when we are talking about our beloved club.
