I wouldn't argue with any of that mate. Change is possible without destroying the club though and it is clear we need a successful businessman to run this club which Kenwright (which to be fair he would admit too), is not.

Poor Davek, his world must be crumbling around him. The oft spoken notion of Good Moyes / Bad Kenwright has been shown to be the falsehood that it always was. Moyes is an employeee who is reasonably happy with his lot, who wants to see the club progress. If he wasn't he clearly would have marched into the board room demanded the board stick their hands in their collective pocket and got his P45 for his troubles. I agree with most of what Moyes said, perhaps I'm an Uncle Tom apparatik

NSNO - Now apply it to yourself, liberally three times a day, between meals and whenever you feel like moaning.

It's a GOT standard now for someone to come on, a Motto quoter and give it Nil Satis Nisi Optimum as if that win's the argument. I don't believe the motto implies we can forget about economic realities, the perils of new ownership, recessions, or the difficulty in selling a business model on a crumbling stadium with little room to expand.

Most of us want new owners (I do provided the new owner is given the kind of brutal scrutiny not normally afforded to people buying football clubs) , but people calling Moyes a ginger prick, jesus. What's the point of kopites if we're going to **** our own off?

If you look at anything with a strict NSNO you can be critical. Only the best? Honestly mate, Dixie Dean was sh!t. NSNO - he should've scored a hundred goals that season. When we last won the league, we should've won the quadruple. When we beat Bayern 3 - 1 it should've been 9-0.

How about we add the caveat (within reason) as opposed to la la land.

That is a post and a half mate.

davek has a valid piont moyes could put pressure on kenwright by saying what we all know, were going no were under this board of directors, and if thats all you want fine but if you want more give me the money to do it or go, or i will. if he had any bollocks he would have done it after finishing 4th

Nothing to do with that it´s to do with the Ginger prick comment .

I can imagine both you and Davek going up against your employers and gobbing off, and expecting not to receive a P45 in the post. Moyes is an employee. He doesn't put in millions into the club.

I accept the charge that neither does Kenwright, but you must really be delusional if you think that Moyes can go to the Board demand money and they simply hand it over. Kenwright doesn't have a secret stash at the back of the settee. We'ver mortgaged the club precisely because we don't have money.

Not really sure what you would expect if Moyes did confront Kenwright in that way. Do you really think he'll find the extra money? Do you really think that this conversation has not taken place before?

Get real guys, this is real life.

Nice one Moyesie - we need investment, but we can keep the same owners who've put ZERO money into the club since they took over in 1999. Maybe they've just boosted his wages up to £4M per year??

Stick to the footy Moyes, you ginger prick.

A couple of weeks ago you were saying how you support moyes and has done a great job. You really don't have a clue what is best for this football club

sorry mate davek does not have any point. In-fact i don't think davek has a clue about anything and contradicts himself in his posts.

There's no contradiction in what I posted. Go back and read what I said: 'stick to the footy' I said...he's a decent manager and the best we can have under the present financial circumstances - I've stated that constantly and stand by it. Having a go at him for his comments that underline how much he's settled for second rate doesn't contradict that position.

You've embarrassed yourself there, mate.

I dont think I have: he IS ginger; and his comment IS one that only a prick would make - after another season of mediocrity he's signalling that he wants more of it.

No place for false idols at Everton, imo. This isn't Liverpool and their religious-like worship of the cult of the individual. If Moyes is acting like a complete tvvat we should acknowledge it.

what would you have him do davek? you are in a pub with moyes having a pint, what should he do

To be fair to Davek, he's already answered that question. The real question is, are we completely sure that he has not already done this in previous years? Moyes doesn't exactly strike me as a tame [Poor language removed] cat. We don't know if he has confronted Kenwright and even if he did walk, Kenwright would simply bring in another manager, more compliant in Davek's eyes.

It sounds real nice and macho, but fortunately we don't live in the reality distortion field that is Daveks' World.

Liverpool fans would have you believe there is a long history of them sticking by their managers and this is something exclusive to them but I can point to the same thing at Everton. I don't see why they should have the monopoly on showing faith and getting behind a team.

It seems Davek wants to paint this as an LFC quality which is insidious in itself. being an Everton fan isn't about publicly sl@gging your own manager off and calling him names because he disagrees with your pet agenda. The team is always paramount above everything, but I trust Moyes knows what he's doing. I see no reason to believe that faith is somehow undeserved. I'm sure Moyes is working a considerable amount harder and smarter to see Everton win things than some random poster on GOT is.

And Moyes isn't acting like a complete tvvat. Nowhere near it.

You may be like.
