The price is a fluid thing mate, it differs i would imagine through out the year, the final set of accounts the fans see are just that - its not an accurate picture of things day to day. To be honest, i cant see the value in naming a price, i would say its north of 100 mill - which is fair enough seeing as the buissness is turning over 80 mill. The overall debt picture will be interesting seeing as a fair bit of wedge may have gone to the banks, while Fifa have patted us on the head recently in comparrison to other prem league clubs.

Really naming the price, is bad buissness, if its one of the BU demands then its everything you need to know - its bad buisness practice. Id Say somewhere between 100-120 mill, myself, anyone who thinks the board will just give the club away given our complex share issue, really has nothing to add to the debate.

Mike Ashley wanted to sell Newcastle for 150million who have a bigger ground, only team in the city, bigger commercial reach etc...everyone turned their nose and the closest he got was a 90-100mill bid that he turned down.

You've got to be nuts to think Everton is worth 120million when we have no assets and a rotting stadium

Thats very general mate, when and in what context? what was their debt situation at the time of the bid, who made the bid?

You want to sell the club for 20 mill mate?

No I want him to give it away for nothing, but thats unrealistic.

So its only fair he should get back his money, I mean its only fair, hes had 10+ Years of living the dream, every Everton fans dream, Chairman, the best seat in the House, the prestige of being in charge of the 4th best Club in England, the honour of being Chairman of Everton.

Lets pretend your an Everton fan, lets pretend.

Remember when Kenwright was on Goals on Sunday and refused to answer how much we were for sale for.

My belief has always been that this bored are holding out for massive profit when and however it comes, thats why i despise them

We are not for sale mate, unless it would be an offer he couldn't refuse.

It was never officially disclosed but it's widely believed that Citeh were bought for ~150 million. We know that a big reason for that sale going through was the new stadium ( which they now lease for 3 million a year ). In some ways Man City were similar to us. If you take 150 million as a starting point, knock off the cost of building a new stadium and then knock off a bit more because the world finances have changed so much then I reckon you get a sensible valuation some way short of 100 million. 70 to 80 million would, realistically, be the most you could expect.

If the board are holding out for 100+ million then they're very unlikely to find a buyer

The Blue Union and most fans are a joke.

I see the argument of why Kenwright has been a dick, in terms of Kirkby and various other issues, such as trying to sell the club on a 24/7 basis. However, would I prefer to be Blackburn or Pompey? No. I also wouldn't want a foreign owner.

I'm quite happy to finish near a EUROPA place or even get into it, rather than fighting for relegation because some deluded fans can't see the fact we're doing alright!! Yes we're not fighting for the Premier League or Champions League spots, but heh - even if we did get investment we would need more than £30 million to turn our team around.

I don't know why any investor at the current time would purchase Everton FC. There's no hope of a new stadium, our playing staff are ageing and to be fair, we're pushing well above our weight. If a new owner comes in, sacks Moyes, we go down. Then who will you blame? I doubt yourselves - and it will be all the fans who backed the idiots like Blue Union.
