Hearing on twitter that Colin Fitzpatrick gave a presentation for the BU comparing Spurs with Everton, with suitable negative slant on Everton. why not just compare torquay's finances with Real Madrid?
It's blatantly obvious why , if you don't know it's pointless explaining

Perfect comparison. Liverpool is full of wealthy jewish businessmen and Tottenham is packed with low income families.

Kenwang oot.

Go on have a go. A team who is highly capitalised compared against a team who is poorly capitalised. A team who can make bids for players of £12m per season v a team who can only scrap a loan.

I'd just love to hear your explanation. It might even re-write the laws of physics.

No-one's said the accounting category itself is unusual, illegal, or that there's wrongdoing going on......what is unusual is the steep rise from £5M to £24M over a few years and that Kenwright (albeit clearly stoned during the interview in question) reckons he doesn't know what they are.

Apart from the stoned comment, I do agree with you if those are the figures. I would agree that it does require a rationale explanation.

Maybe he was trying to demonstrate how a club that started the Premier League off with Everton and three other clubs, and is generally talked of as being a peer club of ours, is now almost out of sight. They've attracted the likes of Joe Lewis and his ENIC group; we've attracted the likes of Green, but he doesn't want a formal relationship with the club, instead he just acts as a dead hand on it.

So did anyone go?

Yes, all of these people....
