Some of them have had clinics and town/school meeting minutes prepared from last week, they are still accountable to the time they've spent prior during and after the mandelson documents landed. Yes it feels tertiary, but is par for the course in spite of recent revelations.

Pop parliament live on (BBC Parliament freeview 232) as them that didn't get a question in PMQ's are unloading their bombs now
Completely understand that the planning is weeks in advance for PLQs and indeed the Commons. But we all knew that it was going to kick off today and I'm sure a quick shuffle from this week to next week could have been a possibility.

They've got the same formula happening this week, and quite simply, this circus is looking even bigger for next week. This could go to a special motion and calling of parliament in an emergency.

This is cooking, and it's cooking 'kin fast!

Can you imagine Tommy ten names social media output if his name was Jeffery Hussien, makes you think doesn’t it. Nowt from the supposed child protector.

If it turns out financial decisions were being linked to hedge fund managers and currency speculators well before market announcement, we're on the cusp of the most costly criminal fraud case in all of history. And a so called labour man appears at least for now to be the only idiot caught with his hand in the till. The magnification of the financial pain the uk has been through in the last say 18 years could have been orchestrated from within government, by the once de-facto deputy labour leader in office, and then eventual peer in the house of lords.

I can't stand boris, and despise all associated with him, but this could very easily put boris' ineptitude and corruption in the shade like comparing - well, I don't know who. I'm at a loss to because no such previous chasm as example exists. If the worst is found, needs jailing forever as do his lackeys. No swanning off with the kick back millions made off the suffering of the average person in the uk.

SNP have moved swiftly as well. Played right into their hands this.
You've got a point.

Turns out he did, thoughts on Starmer now?

The PM also wanted to appoint one of the most evil figures in modern UK politics as US ambassador but sure, they’re absolute angels.
The vetting process knew and asked further questions, let us find the facts first! He specifically did not say that HE knew.

Where have I said they are angels, I said they were compared to the Tories, very different and not such a high bar.

One of the most evil figures? Not Thatcher, Blair, Johnson, Rees-Mogg, Mone, Truss, Farage….sure Mandelson is a s**tbag and traitor of the worst kind and it was a huge error of judgement to appoint him as anything, let alone Ambassador to one of our supposed Allies.

PS No need to middle finger someone with different politics. It is very unbecoming.

I’m talking about Osborne, who in my opinion, is as evil as those you’ve mentioned.

I’ll middle finger anyone who defends the red tories.

starmer threw mandelson under the bus repeatedly with him (p.m.) lying about his ongoing relationship and communications with epstein. it paints k.s. as willfully naive at best, or enablingly looking the other way at worst.

They are battling over who gets the say, government with the big majority doesn't want to end up hamstrung, opposition demands ISC oversight and trust them with both information re national security and then information crucial to police inquiry. 'International relations' seems the sticking point, as it is rather vague, who is it they don't want to upset? It's like the dances they did in the lords over the super-injunctions messes from a few years back.

"Which of our foreign allies had something to say re the appointment of mandelson" - interesting. Who's flagged him up as a stooge? And who's ignored any warnings.
