This whole thing is a massive distraction from what's happening in the world right now. Needless to say the boys and girls of the press are lapping it up.
I heard crowing laughter on Times radio today. They really are irresponsible people.
What’s going on mate. Shed some light on the game.

This whole thing might be the root cause of what’s happening in the world right now
If it turns out financial decisions were being linked to hedge fund managers and currency speculators well before market announcement, we're on the cusp of the most costly criminal fraud case in all of history. And a so called labour man appears at least for now to be the only idiot caught with his hand in the till. The magnification of the financial pain the uk has been through in the last say 18 years could have been orchestrated from within government, by the once de-facto deputy labour leader in office, and then eventual peer in the house of lords.

I can't stand boris, and despise all associated with him, but this could very easily put boris' ineptitude and corruption in the shade like comparing - well, I don't know who. I'm at a loss to because no such previous chasm as example exists. If the worst is found, needs jailing forever as do his lackeys. No swanning off with the kick back millions made off the suffering of the average person in the uk.

SNP have moved swiftly as well. Played right into their hands this.

Like there's any difference between Labour and the Tories you'll never see scenes like this staged at their homes

Mandelson made to many enemies but he knows too much there'll be no trials, especially after his rehabilitation and involvement in removing Corbyn and any real opposition to the establishment.

He's been a prominent figure in british politics for over 3 decades. He's hatched jobbed plenty, of course he is hated. He's been kept on because of how good he is at destroying others. His familiarity with other sharks is what has finally done for him. Goes to show how canny a slug blair is that he's currently no fingers to be burned on this fiasco.
mandelson was a vocal critic of this exact behaviour in 2009, and a certain director of public prosecutions decided the wrong doing wasnt egregious enough to bring a case against a then sitting labour mp. you don't need spelling out the name of that director do you...

The only point I would make here is why do you think this corruption and Johnson's corruption are two separate affairs?

One of the things the emails released and identified so far show is how broad the influence went - from New Labour, to the Brexiteers and even Yaxley-Lennon - and how long it lasted. I doubt the SNP were outside of that (given how Murdoch has treated them down the years, the chunk of MPs that Scotland represents (usually vital in getting Labour a win) and, without wishing to speak ill of the dead, the opportunity that Salmond might have presented to a scheme like this). Nor for that matter would be the Tories - of course Johnson himself would have been an ideal candidate for attending an event like this, and the complete absence of this coming out before in the British media should tell us a lot.

If I could legitimately smear boris for insider trading, I'd have it tattoo'd on my backside and I'd streak through westminster park daily. when the european bank gave the green light to cough 500M euro's into the banking system this was an opportunity for those inside that agreement to get a slice. The guarantee on precious metals and the downgrading of credit and bonds was certain. Then austerity, then the politics of managed decline, then a pished off public led by the nose into brexit via the politics of grievance. The living standards have been pummeled in the uk over the past 18 years, and the politicians have been complicit in that by allowing profiteering via privitisation of energy, transport, and water whilst simultaneously shanking the nhs.

'You can't fatten a pig on the day you take it to market', well, the night of the long knives seems to have been masterminded by a labour miscreant. Sabotage. Betrayal. Treachery.

boris never hid his lust for money. mandelson has cut the throat of millions, and for what?

Oh how I'd like it if he was excommunicated and sent to a tent next to begum to rot stateless. How very fitting.

I could be wrong, but I think that plate image may be fake. He's since deleted the tweet and i cant find a single mention of it anywhere else on twitter, which is odd because you'd expect it still to pop up in lots of tweets regardless of whether it's legit or not.

Can't find anything about it via google or reddit either
