The 'diving Panel' farce

The whole diving (cheating) situation is the main reason I don't go to watch top flight football anymore,I can remember an everton game v Chelsea at goodison when unsworth was sent off and that seemed to be the start of it in English football, now its just about every game and don't kid yourself that everton players don't do it.
A ref the other week booked 3 arsenal players for simulation (cheating ) and guess what at least one of them did it the following week and got away with it,var won't stop it because of the spineless people and pundits who condone players falling over because there was contact (even if there wasn't or because someone brushed up against them).the only thing that any of them seem to be bothered about is money, so I think maybe we have to hit them in the pocket and make sure Sean dyche is on the committee and not Murphy or savage,2 of the worst footballers ever to still be parasitising football

“As there was contact between the players, it did not meet the FA's threshold for a disciplinary charge.”

That’s from the BBC.

Unbelievable! Given the Niasse and Lanzini ones both had contact too. If that isn’t corruption I don’t know what is.

Massive corruption and the worse thing is they are totally open about it ,a side in the bottom three or mid table never gets a penalty like that

The pen was soft. Just like DCL’s at the pit last season. But if a defender puts his hands on an attacker in the box then they run the risk of something happening- that’s the exact line that was used last season for us so there’s no point moving the goal posts now because it doesn’t suit us.

There was minimal contact on Salah it was negligible & certainly did not warrant going down like he did, it was not a penalty in fact he should of probably been booked, DCL contact was much more significant & he was stretching out running at paçe which is a totally different scenario.

Star struck officials need to be more fair & treat all teams on the same level...

people say VAR will sort stuff out,it may do on the odd one,but it will add to the mess ups as well for me,you will get ex refs or whatever in studios saying tops were pulled etc so they were right to go down, even if they were hardly touched with the force these players go down and so on

VAR will remove a lot of the corruption that exists in the game.

It's not paranoid nonsense either. It exists. We've seen massive clubs in Series A collared for it - it happens in English football and it's more rife than Matt Le Tissier kicking the ball out to win bets on first throw etc.
Why would a Video Assisted Referee be any less corrupt than a 'review panel'?
VAR will only exist to stifle debate and ensure the 'correct' result for the corrupt authorities.

My pedigree cat is infertile and people are hungry. Why are we even discussing this issue?

Because it’s one of the biggest grey areas in the game and we are one of only two teams to have been sanctioned so far? Because we want to know where the boundaries are for what is allowed?

But what about capitalism?
