When the news covers someone taking their own life it can trigger others to think about doing so.

All of us can fall into dark places at times but there are ways out x

Except in Belgium where the nasty, petty government we have just cut all the funding for the suicide prevention line.

There is however is a perception that your past can forever define you and that can be a very bad and dangerous message for someone in a dark place emotionally as it tends to lead to a belief that there to a very limited set of options available to them.

People can and have changed, even those who have done some pretty awful things, and even if you are an atheist like myself the concept of redemption and atonement are still valuable philosophies.
