Not gonna lie - I thought Doris Day died about 30 years ago

...I think she shunned the limelight in later years and concentrated on her animal charity work. I knew she was still alive and had reached a grand old age.

I’m sure we’ll get to see some of those great old films and hear memorable songs in coming weeks. Secret Heart is one of my all time favourites.

She was actually no1 on the day I was born with Que Sera, Sera (Whatever will be will be). Love her singing ‘Secret Love’, fabulous voice.

Very sad news. I was doing my National Service in Singapore when Que Sera, Sera was top of the charts. If I ever hear it and close my eyes, I am transported back to Singapore 1950's. For some reason, there is no other piece of music has an affect on me like that.

Sad day in our house, the missus was a big fan, she was brought up listening to her music and then played her Cd's for years as our kids grew up.
