He's just in it for the money though, init mate?

Even me, being the blue I am am would bite their fukin hand off the minute they offered me a guaranteed 5-year 15 million pound contract

and that's regardless of whether I was planning on staying.

In it for the money, on the take

You dont think he'll get offered more money for the squad when he signs the new contract either do you mate?

As you say though, £15M is £15M.

a season is a season - There's a saying about the league - "come what may in May" It's the only time your league position means anything. You can be top of the league from August until April, but if you're not there in May, then it counts for fuk all.

As for our derby record...Well, I'm not happy with it either, but most of the kopites I talk to, claim it is our cup-final. I'm beginning to see why they think that way, after reading what I've read.

We should sell season tickets from may to the end of the season then.

I honestly hope he does go to Spurs you know.

Most of you deserve the whirlwind that will come after Moyes.

And besides, my Season Ticket should be cheaper in The Championship.

Better a whirlwind than the balmy breeze rocking us gently about mid-table finishes. TBF though the apocalyptic scenarios rolled out on the possibilityof ginger plums leaving is hilarious.

what I'm saying is that I wouldn't hang around, I'd sign that 15 million pound contract ASAP.....But I'm just a pauper; Davey obviously has his reservations.

Let's face it, the longer he stalls on signing the deal, the less chance he has of signing a document that woul guarantee him that money. In it for the money, sure.

It'll all be part of some 'managing the media' scheme that he's come up with to try to get the best outcome for David Moyes and hopefully for Everton. It'll work a little bit, people like Andy Gray will have a laugh and a joke about it, but ultimately things will stay roughly the same and we'll try to do the best that we can.

I'm not sure why Moyes would want to rule himself out of other job opportunities. Even if he didn't want to leave Everton, he's in talks to extend his contract. Having a club like Tottenham interested helps his bargaining position. But let's be honest, he'd probably consider taking the Tottenham job if he was guaranteed a big contract and autonomy over football operations. They simply have more money available than Everton do and thus, a greater chance at success in the future.

Exactly. But some are still reassured that he wouldn't go if asked.

Problem is, he won't be asked but still keeps his options open. Fair play. But don't saddle ambitions aspirations with a club with zero finances while keeping other avenues of work open

if and its A FOOKEN BIG IF moyes was offered spurs job hed be off in a flash FACT

And when he's not offered the job, the excuse from fans will be one of "our squad is on par with them, they'll sell all their players, Moyes wont have control, its not a step up..." rather than being plain old...Spurs don't want him because of his brand of togger and reputation and rather look at a fruity foreign coach.
