You do realise that the fines were predominantly given to the Civil Service don’t you…and that Beer Starmers investigation has only just started……

How do you know that?

1. The Met Scuffers have not given out the names of those fined; and

2. Sue Gray's report does not identify those whom the Met Scuffers fined. The report only provides information on what actually happened from her and her team's investigations (I have read the full report).

So, you DON'T know who has received the fines, apart from those who have made it public. i.e. The First Lord of the Treasury, and the Chancellor.

lol yeah, right.
True story. My mother was high up in the NHS for over 40 years. She saw it daily. Back handers to suppliers, for items that could be sourced elsewhere for much lower prices. Everyone employed as 'a contractor' on double the pay a salaried person would earn. Our local Trust in Southport was a prime example, the top 4 people paid themselves massive salaries and took half of the year off in holidays. Corruption is rife through out the whole NHS.. They have plenty of funding. Its horrifically mismanaged managed and not audited properly.

One example of hundreds.. Its rife.

'Corruption is rife across the whole NHS' is a stretch.

Ah well, if one person says so then it must be true.

Your having some wum, NHS hospitals can only purchase off a preferred list of suppliers which is put together
by Government/civil service level... It's why current government ended up in a mess PPE with COVID and wasted £billions

....and some (a lot) of the 'preferred' suppliers absolutely rinse the NHS, selling goods waaaaaay over priced.

Do you realise thaty Boris the spider is ultimately responsible? It's called vicarious liability. As follows:
Vicarious liability arises when a principal is answerable for the act of an agent in the course of its business.
It most often comes up in an employment context. The employer is vicariously liable for the employee, by the operation of tort law. The employer responsible for acts of the employee. The acts of the employee must be unlawful.

The PM is ultimately responsible for the actions of those working to him, either directly, or via officers holding intermediate grades or responsibilities upon which the top man relies. It was HIS responsibility to stop his staff doing anything which might, or will, break the law. He did no such thing...
