Thats the issue you have Peter, thats what happens when you vote Tory, you gain a huge amount of self-importance, you start thinking you are better than people and you start looking down your noses at people.

Out of my depth, I am the depth.

I have no self importance. I’m just a scruff from Liverpool who had a decent career, but now I’m a pensioner trying to look after my family. I hold no airs and graces and tend to enjoy the company of most people, from whatever background or wealth. We of course only converse via the Internet, which never really shows what an individual is like. It doesn’t convey humour nor friendship, nor can you share a drink with them and have a laugh. I only responded initially to you as I did, because you were taking the piss and perhaps I should have done similar. Anyway, perhaps one day I’ll buy you a pint and you might realise that this old man is not quite as bad as you may imagine…..

You have a thing for Boris Johnson. How do you honestly expect to not have the piss taken out of you when you support such a blatant stain on democracy and serial lying narcissistic rat like him?

You are so out of touch it’s hilarious.

Beergate anyone…..

I accidentally clicked on the opening page, but thought it worth quoting this post…words of course are superfluous….

Mustn't forget the "H" in Theresa you naughty boy ...... otherwise you get this T. May:

Pete, I have no doubt that you are well intentioned.

What I can’t understand is your undying devotion to a rat.

I guess we are the of a similar age. I was in Rotterdam and had the time of my life there, in Ostend and on the very long and drunken journey home.

I also still have a super career at director level in the City of London.

It is revealing in my current meetings, that many of the real movers and shakers in London are deffo not fans of Johnson or the Tories and think he’s a complete idiot.

I’m talking of many well known company directors and chairmen, that you would no doubt recognise.

They are the people that make the decisions in the Tory party.

Accept it, he’s toast. Why do you defend him ?

They actually believe that a labour win in the next election would be the best outcome to “purge the brexit idiots and re-set our relationship with Europe”

Fact not fiction.

Ravi Govindia, the Conservative leader of Wandsworth council, made clear where he believes the blame lies, saying, “consistently on the doorstep the issue of Boris Johnson was raised”.

Not sure what gave them that idea.

My door has a sign,

Can't afford wine!

Can't afford cheese!

Can't afford Tories!

It’s not so much about defending Boris, he’s done some good stuff regarding Brexit, COVID and Ukraine which Starmer or Corbyn would have messed up and the same people you refer to would have been apoplectic had either been running the country. He‘s messed up over Partygate, his Environmental aims and getting a proper relationship with the EU (which I mostly blame the EU for tbh) and in my opinion has allowed Scotland and Wales far too much leeway. I look at the Conservative benches and I see lightweights and pygmies, I look at the opposition benches and I see an empty vessel in Starmer. Boris is getting his arse kicked, and rightly so, but I just do not see a replacement…

Scotland, Wales and Ireland can’t wait until England vote for independence and leave the union .
