Giving terrorists and religious extremists positions of power, not just over NI, but the rest of us, certainly won't end well.

And what in thee blue hell is Theresa May still doing in Downing Street? At least Cameron had the good grace to resign after his failure last year. Honestly, she's losing the Tories votes with every passing second. Had she came out and announced that she was resigning but will hold the fort until a successor was appointed then that would have been fine, but to carry on thinking business was as usual is utter delusion, and insanely scary.

Dems de rules mate.

She had most seats, so has first dibs on No 10. If she resigned before the Queens Speech, then Corbyn would be invited to have a crack. If he resigned or some weird reason, then whoever leads the SNP in the HOC would have a go, unless he/she resigned.....

You get the idea.

As for the DUP. They will have no power, just need them to get a Queens Speech through. After that, god only knows.

She doesn't seem to grasp that she has no confidence from most of the electorate. Even my Tory friends are cringing.

Aye, wouldnt disagree.

I got grief last night by admitting I couldnt vote for May, nor Corbyn, so plumped for voting for my actual Tory MP, who has been great on local issues.

May has been an utter shambles. Called her out a few weeks ago. Not that she read GOT mind.

That was the same for me too (well initially anyway) but for Labour. I'll admit that I never really warmed to May, I just felt that she was - and still is - way out of her depth, and actually felt unsafe. Whatever people may think of Cameron, and I was mutual on his Premiership at best, (although he did do great things on LGBT and other social issues that aren't related to the hardship most faced economically) I never felt that the country was unsafe.

Didn't Corbyn vote against it?

He opposed the 1985 Agreement - As you'll recall Thatcher later concluded that agreement was a mistake as it sadly led to more killings being committed by both sides, as Corbyn argued it would do at the time.

Corbyn supported the GFA as it won in two referendums (one in the South and one in the North) but the crazed DUP are still opposed to it.
