Not to take the conversation out of one thread and into another I just say this generally.

How can you trust what they say? The UK are literally in a position now where everytime the government speak, they are outright lying, getting the information wrong completely and being exposed over and over for either breaking the law, their own laws or even simple ministerial 'laws'.

In terms of covid , I've said it before, how much stock can you honestly put into what they tell the country instruction wise when every other time they speak about it they are one of the above. But in general, pick a subject , there is nothing left there as of right now to even believe them anymore.

I’m pretty skeptical on what any politician says tbh so I usually read info from the doctors, scientists or data analysts instead.
