This man, raised the issue and has continued to raise the issue of credibility. That is political. However what he has also done is raise and promote the very issue that he accuses Boris of doing, putting people off getting the jab. I know he has points to score, but the epidemic is somewhat more important than petty point scoring which may put people off having the jab. It’s time this guy either opposes what Boris is doing or unequivocally gets behind the programme. But of course we know what he will do, play politics but vote with Boris and the government….disgraceful really….

Of course he will play politics.
It is politics. Baffles me why anybody would think different.
His job is to hold the government and the prime minister to account, support where it is needed and challenge when he believes he needs to challenge.
That's his job. That's politics.
His party, are backing the plans.
What he is not backing, is the prime minister. He is not trustworthy and has no mandate to lead. Nobody can argue that. You can't tell people to not socialize then not follow that guidence yourself.
The government is accountable to the people. Your supposed to follow the law, just like everyone else.
Starmer rightly is holding Johnson to account.

Are they?
When it's reported to not be a work thing and others are in the room with him.
Xmas quiz ain't official government business, or any other kind of work business.
Therefore he was socialising, when it wasn't allowed. Others were there. Socialising in a non work capacity, was illegal at the time.

Of all the people in the U.K. during this period, some had to be working together and not working from home. NHS staff, ambulances, police and those folk working in number 10. Boris was saying thank you and did it via zoom…..

I mean, you might be right. I wasn't there, so can only go off what is reported.
But I suppose if you were there's and privy to the events then Fair enough. I bow down to your definitive knowledge of said event.
I look forward to seeing you at any enquiry to explain said events. Or maybe pop up on breakfast news to help clarify. That way we can get back to trusting our government and put this silly misunderstanding behind us all.

I’ll pass on your apology to Boris…..

Boris Johnson last looked down

On the folk of Britain

When the snow laid round about

And families were all locked in

Boris thought ‘I can’t do that’

And so he threw a party

While people died in hospitals

His chums were making me—rrr—yyy

I know it's hard for you to see this Pete, but Boris is a complete failure, both politically and personally. That's why every criticism of him feels "political" to you. Calling Boris a clown would be an insult to the clowning profession
