Online abuse ain't what it used to be...

On the topic of water pollution this is causing huge problems in Wales. Development can't take place within large swathes of the country. This is partly due to increases in volumes of foul waste water from developments entering watercourses. Either directly, or via waste water treatment works that don't have the consents or striping capabilities to deal with additional phosphates. The amount of phosphates entering rivers are killing ecosystems. So, whilst they get their greedy short term benefit of allowing this companies to pollute it'll come back to haunt them when builders can't build.

Find it very strange that for all the dreadful things this parts has done in the last few years, from decimating the economy with Brexit, cutting benefits, trying to starve kids, putting covid patients in care homes and killing thousands of people.... in addition to constant lying and corruption on a mass scale. The Tory voters seem to have been trigered by the latest vote allowing raw sewage to be dumped into rivers and coastlines.

I just find it wierd

There seems to be a lot moving recently to try and protect the Tories from the country being done right in front of us and noone is noticing.

Overturning court decisions if they disagree with them, armed guards whenever they go out in public , pulling any questioning against them as abuse.

My gut feeling is telling me by the next election rolls around, they will have made themselves untouchable both electorally and generally.

All of that (maybe not the armed guards, but certainly guards) was of course trialled against the Corbynite left - those “extremists” who set out to purge Labour, threaten opponents and all the other things that didn’t happen.
