Mike Parry there, the odious little fart.

Without the full context, I can only presume this is an excerpt from a bit where Mike Parry does his best impression of a nazi

so I’ve seen the context , about eco protests , I’ve also seen him talking about UC and he’s a despicable, horrible individual that angers me only watching him in clips for a couple of minutes . What a nasty piece of work he really is

Labour needs to win the next election and they're not going to do it with a deputy head who shouts "scum" at people.
Honestly, it sometimes seems like the left wing of the party are actually happier when they're losing.
They're not going to win any election with the FPTP in place.
Also with an electorate who lap up sound bites and three word slogans propagated by a right wing supporting media

Unfortunately, there are too many in the Labour Party wedded to FPTP because they think it's ok as long as the Labour Party benefits from it.

They had the chance to reform the voting system in the early years of this century and refused to do anything about it, as they thought the Tories were in a mess and that Labour would rule for the foreseeable future.

Also Clegg the bashful Tory, had to agree to ease off the campaigning to alternative vote and agree to a wooly question and along with many other liberal principles to get the whiff of power... Natural progression going to work for facebook.

“ A former Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, General Sir Gordon Messenger, is to lead a once-in-a-lifetime probe into health and social care in a bid to drive up efficiency and improve performance.

As well as saving money, the review will look at bringing in outsiders from the private sector into top NHS management jobs, a move likely to be opposed by trade unions, and could also consider privatisation of some services.”

Well, nobody ever saw that coming :hayee:

A “once in a lifetime probe”? I'm sure it will be "kerching".

Looks as though the Tories may be toiling to raise enough hospitality staff to work at the Conference in Manchester. First the energy crisis, now this.

I'd loov it if they had to bus in some foreigners for the duration.

They may be reduced to hiring sullen locals instead - "D'yer want chips wi' that?"
