Has nowt to do with the Tories directly, but there is deffo something awfully fishy about the timing & placement of said attacks.

Any half-thorough analysis of the Syria tactical situation will surmise that Assad likely hasn't authored any of these chemical attacks. As to who did, and to what end...well, that's quite an interesting discussion.

Dont want this to wander too far OT, but in this day and age, I would have thought it would be relatively routine to ID where a rocket was delivered from. Especially into a ring fenced city.

In a thread lobbing stuff at Tories, I would suggest that is way beyond even the most rabid anti Tory accusation.

With respect.

Unless the inference is that the attack was faked. And even then not exactly sure if my first sentence is wrong even then.

Yeah sorry as I said I didn't know were to put it but @hullefc alluded to it in a post above maybe I should of started a Syria / Russia thread as I think we are going to need one as the warmongers are determined to have a war with Russia so it seems.

No worries mate.

Think May et al have way too much on their plate to start lobbing chemical weapons at Syria myself.

You'd think so but The West don't share their intelligence so we have to take their word for it.

Dodgy Dossier, 45 minutes and all that spring to mind...

And in the other news, being slipped out.

No surprise A&E are suffering the worst waiting times on record! Can't trust Tories with the NHS.

Naughty Mr Hunt and his 7 luxury flat administration error

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politic...nt-admits-breaking-governments-rules-company/

A good time to dispense bad news.

Jeremy Hunt doesn't run the NHS. Simon Stevens runs the NHS at NHS England. That was the whole point of the reorganisation, to make the delivery less beholden to the whims of politicians. You could play cliche bingo with the amount of politically motivated twaddle written about the NHS.

So the NHS is not safe when the Tories are in Government, reorganisation or not.

And Mr Hunt is error prone when scurrying away his monies, go figure.

Watched Question Time last night. It's shocking how dismissive of the people the tory party are. That Johnson more or less stated that the cabinet and the cabinet alone will make the decision on backing America in Syria. .. surely this must go to a parliamentary vote. .... don't think anybody sane wants to go to war.

The NHS has a number of enormous challenges, but to suggest it's all the fault of Hunt is simplifying matters to the extreme.

Indeed. It’s much wider than just Mr Hunt, it’s the Tory party in general that the NHS is in such perilous state.

As for Hunt, he got honoury mention for his poor administrating skills when reporting his properties. As my wider point was what else is the news, when minds are on warmongering in the Middle East. But odd these errors Hunt and cohorts often make are always of some benefit to them, however, when i make errors there is always a cost etc.

With respect, that's not even close to being true, and I'm not sure you're getting me. This government are undoubtedly bungling oafs, but they have practically no involvement in the day to day running of the NHS. There is a CEO for NHS England, and CEOs of each individual trust. They're ultimately accountable for how services are provided, whilst we're ultimately accountable for how we (ab)use the service.

The fact is, I doubt more than 1% of the population could name the boss of their local NHS trust, or indeed the boss of NHS England, so Hunt becomes the lightning rod for the NHS when in reality he has very little influence.
