It's okay though as Pete said that now we've taken back control that he will be holding the government fully to account as there is no one else to blame.
I think we both know that Pete's relationship with holding the government to account is about as strong as Johnson's relationship to honesty.

"Major Sleaze" is a very good retort to Captain Hindsight.

Shame it's taken so long for Starmer to get there.

One of two days of his sleaze, probably get away with its a week too many weeing into the tent now. Reported that he met with Tory MPs to settle them as there in boxes start to fill with concerns.

Still I never thought we'd see the day that a PM would explode like that at PMQ's and decide that attack is the best form of defence while the Electoral Commission is investigating said PM, it was like seeing Kopites fume VVD.
Kevin Keegan moment was a really good line too.

Clearly rattled

It reminds me of the article in the Guardian today about "King Boris". It made James O'Brien very happy, and these kind of things appeal to those of us who are inclined to think Johnson is an utter turd, and yet the Tories still lead in the polls. It's not enough, is it?

Current speaker Lindsay Hoyle seems v weak with respect to Johnson at PMQs - although I'm not sure it's the speaker's job to continually pull him up on his bullshit and make him answer the question.

Think an anonymous speaker is prob a good thing in general, when everyone more or less follows procedure - just not for this particular primeminister.

I would think the speaker exists to ensure that the politicians serve us, which at PMQs means giving answers to the questions asked of them. He blatantly doesn't do that and doesn't seem to hold politicians to account whatsoever. He's a complete waste of space.

There is an election coming up. The electorate involved will decide whether wallpaper or inoculations/ventilators/managing the pandemic were the more important.....

A Prime Minister scrounging money to do up his home and Sarah Vine complaining about him not having to live in a skip while the rest of us eat cake

It is pathetic. He just responds with bluster and vaccine stuff . He totally ignores Europe’s highest death rate and ten years of misery
I pray he gets found out for this sleaze

There are ten countries in Europe with a higher Covid death rate than the U.K. There are 0 countries in Europe with a higher inoculation rate than the U.K. Covid is running wild in Europe, we will soon be out of it.

Boris has not been in charge for ten years. You still can’t name anyone who would have done a better job.....

No taxpayer money was spent on the PM flat. How much did Blair spend?

One or two days of negative is manageable gone on too long now will start to have an effect, his MPs are worried about next week...

Oh, and while you continue to act all triumphant about the supposed management of the crisis by the government. Really?

Deaths per 1 million people:

UK 1,869
France 1,584
Germany 984

In fairness to Starmer he always batters him in PMQ's. Just that no one really watches them or cares about them. So all most people see of Starmer is him trying to herd cats in the Labour party.
