How Hancock is still in a job is beyond me. Of course we will hold our politicians accountable...
Old boy networks and helping each other it. Favours for favours. Things will never change with this lot.

Hancock is the Grayling of this government; they'll keep him around as a meatshield until the time comes for the Government to learn the lessons of the initial failure of the Health Secretary to tell the PM and his advisors of whatever it was they'd have done if only they had known.

This Grensill business has some mileage in it. Could very well end with police and it's various financial fraud squads... Noting that all the Torys seem worried about is who are the left leaning civil servant who are grassing them up and expelling them...

Another BS stunt hits the rocks.
Never ceases to amaze me the ways in which the Tories find the monies to bung to their chums even Russian ones.

He's quite high up in the worst Tories stake which is an impressive place to be. He's that guy you'd see when you went home at Christmas who thought everyone was pals because you happened to be in the same school together a few years gone and forget that it was warts like him that made it unpleasant.
Johnny Mercer (Boris kind of useful idiot) might prove to be a loose cannon for Boris. He hasn't held back.

Good opinion piece despite the loathsome writer...

Christ, where to start with this:

The Archbishop of Canterbury has urged "forgiveness and compassion" for politicians, amid a row over lobbying.
Justin Welby told the BBC's Political Thinking podcast that morality had more "bite" than it used to in politics.
And he told host Nick Robinson "no 19th Century politician" would survive today's standards "for one week".
