Registered address of charity:
55 Tufton Street.

Mmmmmmmm..,.
Someone on Reddit noticed too, and fleshed it out a bit:

Now you might think that's a bit weird, until you realise that "Feeding Britain" has the address of:

55 Tufton Street, London

This is the famous location of the right-wing think tanks, the central location of Eurosceptics and Climate change denier groups for the UK including:

1.1 Brexit Central

1.2 Business for Britain

1.3 Civitas

1.4 European Foundation

1.5 Global Vision

1.6 Global Warming Policy Foundation

1.7 Leave Means Leave

1.8 Migration Watch UK

1.9 New Culture Forum

1.10 Taxpayer's Alliance

This the place where the UK right wing politicians come for new ideas, and for jobs.

What kind of a despicable twunt do you have to be to vote against FSM for the most underprivileged and malnourished children in society right now? This government is an affront to human decency. Their blatant corruption (i.e. giving £100m+ to their friends) is perfectly fine though, apparently...

I look forward to hearing what their cheerleaders have to say about it. Over to you, @peteblue

I’m in favour of free school meals...

The sanctimonious platitudes about individual responsibility and cliched rubbish about "booze and cigs and big tellies" spouted by scum like Ben Bradley in justifying starving kids in the middle of a pandemic, where people are losing work and wages all over the place, are almost enough to make me pick up a Desert Eagle and start offing Tory MP's for food.

The amount of working class Torys towing the party line on meals for kids even though most of them are only 1 or 2 paydays away from being in that situation themselves is staggering.

The absolute typification of the modern “I’m alright, Jack” attitude. Posting shopping lists online “here’s how a tenner can feed you for a week” The aloofness, lack of self awareness and the idea that being down on your luck or trying to help someone who is, is somehow something to be sneered at.

Absolutely maddening.

Putting the morality of it to one side, politically, it seems to be a really stupid hill to die on. The cost isnt all that, in the big picture, and one could argue that giving folk food vouchers almost guarantees that they will be used for that; that sounds horrid, but you get the idea.

Like, @Toast told us how one customer had saved her food vouchers up in lock down, and tried to buy a gadget or phone or sommet; he wouldnt let her, so they also lance the "irresponsible, big TV" crap that some most likely raised.

Makes little sense. To me, anyrate.

I’m swerving this mate, and have never posted in this thread before I believe.
But as you tagged me in, it was a PS4 the customer wanted to buy using the food voucher codes. This wasn’t a one off either.
On the regular you get people wanting to buy alcohol etc with them etc and it’s always a confrontation that you just can’t be arsed with.
I’m sure most people use the vouchers responsibly and feed their kids and probably themselves with them.
I’ve been on the bones of my arse before, proper skint, and you will do whatever it takes to get by.

I am a rare visitor as well, hence my post being about the political own goal, (imo) that could have been easily avoided.

People were selling the Government £15 voucher codes online as well.
It’s a system that will be abused by the few sadly.

Some of the stuff I did to survive is shocking. People forget that this is still the case for many many UK people
