It was a shame, because he's always really big on law-and-order and banging on about how criminal punishments should be increased and prison is too soft, so lots of people wanted to see how he'd react to the fact that a Tory MP and former Minister had been arrested for rape. Given how angry he gets about minor crimes, you can imagine he would have been apoplectic with rage to learn that one of his fellow MPs was a suspected rapist.

But the timing was really bad. Mark Francois seemed to vanish from social media just at the same time as it emerged that the unnamed Tory MP was being questioned by the Police.

All that is being questioned on a thread labelled 'scummy Tories' is why mark francois, chair of the ERG has not spoken on the latest brexit happenings. Havent heard much from Gove on it either.
